PACFI tops $7,000 at golf classic

The 24th annual Pennsylvania Cystic Fibrosis Inc. (PACFI) Golf Classic was held at the Wynding Brook Golf Club in Milton recently. Fifty-nine golfers competed for gift certificates via flight winners, closest-to-the-pin and longest drives.

First flight winners, with a score of 60, were Jim Callenberger, Buck Callenburger, Dick Day and Rick Batman; Second flight winners, with a score of 66, were Mike Gordon, Michael Koons and Jack Hagan; Third flight winners, with a score of 72, were Pete Gordon, Carl Rearick, Troy Gregory and Matt Carter. The ladies flight winners, with a score of 70, were Lori Benshoff, Amanda Benshoff, Dre Benshoff and Melissa McKee.

Closest-to-the-Pin winners were Jon Hummel, Sandy Andrews, Justin Troup and Rick Batman. Ted Dougherty Jr., won the mens longest drive and June Dawes won the ladies longest drive.

About 84 people attended the dinner and awards ceremony.
