LOCK HAVEN — Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. is preparing for one of its biggest events of the year, the 2025 Best of Clinton County Festival and Parade.
The festival, organized by non-profit Downtown Lock Haven, Inc. and now in its 24th year, will kick off at 10:30 a.m. on June 21 with a variety of vendors setting up shop along Main Street from Mill to Jay streets. Local businesses will also be opening their doors for you to check out what products they have.
“Enjoy a vibrant street festival full of local vendors, delicious food trucks and live music that will keep the good vibes rolling all day long. Bring the whole family — there’s something for everyone,” DLH Manager Melissa Dally said.
Dally said DLH is planning to feature face painting, interactive games and a limbo contest for the kids. Also on deck will be live music by local band, 2 AM.
So far 27 vendors have signed up for the event, with more expected to follow. Those interested in signing up may visit https://bit.ly/bestofclintoncounty25 to learn more.
The annual festival features arts and craft vendors along with a variety of informational booths for non-profits and more. Visitors can check out these vendors from all over the region and also pop into local shops and restaurants throughout the day.
The festival will conclude at 3 p.m., however the fun won’t be over.
Festival goers can stick around to enjoy the Best of Clinton County parade — which returns after a brief hiatus last year.
“Stick around as the day crescendos into the can’t-miss (parade) featuring colorful floats, community groups, marching bands, and surprises around every corner,” Dally said.
Dally is encouraging all local groups, sports teams, churches, organizations and more to take part in the parade. Those wishing to sign up may visit DLH’s website, www.lockhaven.org.
“Let’s celebrate the people, places, and spirit that make Clinton County the best place to be — see you there,” Dally said.
