Library to host program about illustrator

The James V. Brown Library, 19 E. Fourth St., will host an educational program about the artwork of pioneer illustrator Frances Tipton Hunter at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 8. Marisa C. Saìnchez, PhD, assistant professor art history at Lycoming College, will provide an overview of Hunter’s artwork, which was most known for gracing the covers of 18 Saturday Evening Post magazines during the mid-1930s and 1940s.
