Quirky comedy coming to Mill Hall

The Lycoming College Art Gallery will open a new exhibit this fall featuring works of photography by Mark Chen, as well as a “Ring” doorbell feature that can be rung to ask the artist questions in real time. The show opens on Sept. 3, with a gallery talk at 5:30 p.m. The show will run through Oct. 9, and is free and open to the public. Chen is a photographer, a digital media artist and activist. Art league to discuss, teach graffiti

The Bald Eagle Art League is beginning the 2021-22 monthly art workshops at 7 p.m., Sept. 2 at the Taber Museum, 858 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. Mickey Mapstone will explain and demonstrate the techniques of Graffiti, inspiring participants to create and leave with their own “TAG” design during this workshop. Mapstone is a retired art teacher of 27 years, and a practicing artist. She received her bachelor’s degree in art and her master’s degree in education at Mansfield University. Drum corps to visit winery

Readers who miss hearing the sounds of drum and bugle corps in-person will not have to wait much longer — the Keystone Scouts will present Thunder on the Hill at Spyglass Ridge Winery Saturday. The corps will begin rehearsing at 1 p.m. and the show will start at 6 p.m. According to a news release, these corps were out of commission last year due to the pandemic, so they are anxious to put on a great show. Cast member excited about ‘hilarious’ play in Bloomsburg

Although he was born in Dalmatia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Line Mountain High School, Aaron White now calls Williamsport home. The multi- talented performer has designed sets, directed, choreographed and performed for many professional and community theatre groups in recent years.
