City police amended a criminal complaint involving Joshua Lee Saiers, 34, of 1324 W. Third St., who was charged with simple assault after allegedly threatening Edward Nichols with a knife in Saiers’ home on Jan. 17. Police added one misdemeanor count of terroristic threats at Saiers’ recent preliminary hearing. District Judge Christian Frey held him on both charges. Saiers is free on $5,000 bail.
