Mike Rosamilia sees Select Motors as a car dealership that will target an untapped market for this area.

“We are going to focus on affordable cars,” he said.

The dealership at 1 Eye Center Lane, Muncy, owned by Dan Klingerman, opened for business in November.

Rosamilia, Select Motors general manager, said he’s happy with business in the short time the dealership has been opened.

“So far so good,” he said.

With some 70 vehicles in its inventory, he’s excited about the opportunities that are ahead.

Most of the cars are priced at $20,000 and under.

“We offer financing,” he said.

A former general manager for Bob McCormick Ford, he brings plenty of experience to the business.

Right now, he and his brother, J.R. Rosamilia, comprise the sales staff.

“What I like about it is performing a service to meet transportation needs,” he said. “Dealing with the public is nice.”

Rosamilia said the car business has seen a number of changes over the past 20 years, including the use of the internet by buyers.

“I think it’s been for the better,” he said. “Customers know what they want.”

He said Select Motors prides itself on matching the right car with customers at the right price.

Select Motors is part of Interstate Trucking Center located at the same site between the Lycoming Mall and Montoursville.

The location, just off busy Lycoming Mall Drive, is a good one for the business, he noted.

A ribbon cutting for Select Motors was held Nov. 25.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday; and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
