A Lycoming County woman previously reported missing was found deceased about a mile and a half away from her home, according to state police.

Nila Ross, 82, of Cogan House Township, was found Monday evening after having last been seen in her home at 1:30 a.m. Monday, according to the state police at the Montoursville barracks.

There was no suspicious activity or foul play noted, police said.

Police previously believed she was at a special risk of harm or injury, and that she may have been confused.

State police retracted a Missing Endangered Person Advisory around 6:45 p.m. Monday, after Ross’ body was located.
