Voters filled seats on three school boards and a number of borough and township positions in eastern Lycoming County on Tuesday. Those elected and their tentative total number of votes, according to unofficial results on the county’s website, are as follows:

East Lycoming School Board

Region 1 — Brian Shearer, 899; Chris Downey, 833; Region 2 — Randy Holmes, 441; Region 3 — Nichole S. Hopkins, 967.

Montgomery Area School Board

Region 1 — Gary Yocum Jr., 129, and Holly Wertz, 154; Region 2 — Jay R. Emery Jr., 331, and Edward R. Shrimp, 317; Region 3 — Felicia A. Mitchell, 408.

Montoursville School Board

There were no formal candidates for Region 1, but 270 write-in votes were cast.

Region 2 — David J. Young, 1,084; Region 3 — John Houseknecht Jr., 782, and Todd A. Badger, 871.

Muncy School Board

The Muncy School Board is represented by three municipalities.

Muncy Borough — Krista McMonigle, 343, and David Messenger, 357; Muncy Creek Township — Kim Walker, 83; Muncy Township — Abigail Edkin, 311, Corey Walko, 212.

Hughesville Borough

Ward 1 — Danielle Murray, 165; Ward 2 — McKenna Long, 224, and as mayor, Richard F. Smith, 441.

Montgomery Borough

Ruth M. Little, 128; Margaret Mathis, 161; and as mayor, Kenneth G. Bennet, 214.

Montoursville Borough

Region 1 — Marshal J. Winters, 261; Region 2 — Kenneth L. Raker, 112; Region 3 — Misty Emick, 465. Montoursville also elected a new mayor, Randy Swank with 1,127 votes.

Muncy Borough

Cynthia M. Appleman, 388; George A. Henry (2-year term), 400; and Chris Holmes, 337.

In Muncy Township, Terri Lauchle received 257 votes to be elected to the Board of Supervisors.

In the western end, the Jersey Shore Area School District falls into both Lycoming and Clinton counties. The following persons were elected to represent Lycoming County on the school board: in Region 1 — Craig M. Allen, 859; Region 2 — Michelle Stemler, 945; and in Region 3 — Neihl Williamson, 749, and Jesse Edwards, 819.
