Loren L. Fry

Loren L. Fry, 91, of Muncy, went home to his Savior on Sunday, March 9, 2025. Born August 26, 1933, in Eldred Township, Pa, he was a son of the late Lester and Anna (Emick) Fry. Loren and his loving wife, Ruth (Wooler), were married for 57 years before her passing in 2019.

Loren was a natural teacher, skilled carpenter, and gifted woodworker. He also enjoyed music, gardening, reading his Bible, and researching his family history. Loren valued his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by a son, David L. (Eva) Fry, of Muncy; two daughters, Barbara L. (Jeff) Johnson, of Greenfield, IN, and Karen A. (Dan) Zacharias, of Broadway, VA; two sisters, Cora Belcher and Betty Bennett; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 14, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 733 Broad Street, Montoursville, with Pastor Micah Felber officiating. A private burial will follow at Montoursville Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

The family will provide the flowers.
