Not spineless

I wish we all could live in the make-believe utopia of the writer of the Feb. 22 letter, “Death of the GOP.” It was good comic relief! Saturday Night Live might be looking for new writers.

The Democratic Party did everything in their power for four years to derail a duly elected president, all because he defeated the chosen one, Hillary! Plus wasting millions of taxpayer dollars on two made-up impeachment farces. Acting like a bunch of spoiled babies throwing a tantrum because they didn’t get their way, in my opinion. Your party did no one a favor. I applaud those Republican Senators who stood up for what was right! The only spineless ones are those few, including the traitor from Pennsylvania, who joined the party of loathing.

I watched President Trump’s speech on Jan. 6. Nowhere in that speech did he call for an overthrow of the Capitol. He called for people to speak up and be heard.

Mr. Trump’s achievements include some of the lowest unemployment in history, highest economy in many years, no dependence on foreign energy resources, stable controlled southern border, China put in its place, strong military, no new wars and America first.

These are the things we “spineless” Republicans stand for! I guess that makes me, a flag-waving, god-fearing, America-loving Marine veteran who is damn proud to be called a Republican!

Your party must be scared of Mr. Trump because even after he’s been gone two months you’re still crying. Or is it that you can’t find anything good to say about your man in office? Keep drinking the Kool-Aid!
