The West Branch Soccer Club held its second annual 3v3 Color Fun Tournament on Saturday at their fields in Lock Haven. The tournament grew from 62 teams in 2022 to almost 100 teams this year, with close to 500 players attending from locations all over Pennsylvania.
Players competed between the U9 to U19 age group divisions.
WBSC ran 14 fields for the event, which started at 9 a.m. The final game of the day was cut short due to storms around 6 p.m., but a final shootout brought the end to a great day of soccer.
The WBSC 3v3 Color Fun Tournament offered classic 3v3 soccer games with a twist: for every goal scored, teams could earn color blast packs. The players went wild with color, showering everyone within the color blast zone, while also enjoying music and, of course, playing their soccer games.
Round robin play proved to be highly competitive, yet players had a great time despite the outcome of each game.

West Branch Soccer Club partnered with the Lock Haven University men’s soccer team to host a variety of additional games and activities, with LHU soccer players raising money for scholarships. LHU players also assisted with tournament administration, parking and officiating games throughout the day.
West Branch plans to continue the 3v3 Color Fun Tournament annually, and have already planned to host this event again next year on August 10, 2024. For more information about the event, please visit the WBSC website at westbanchsoccerclub.org.
