LAS VEGAS – Four former Nittany Lions will represent Penn State on NBA Summer League rosters as Summer League action begins this week. Yanic Konan Niederhauser (Los Angeles Clippers), Ace Baldwin Jr. (Memphis Grizzlies), Zach Hicks (Boston Celtics) and Andrew Funk (Philadelphia 76ers) will all suit up from July 10-20 in Las Vegas.

Baldwin Jr.’s Grizzlies and Funk’s Sixers have both gotten an early jump on Summer League action, competing in the Salt Lake City Summer League from July 5-8. The Clippers, Grizzles, Celtics and Sixers will all be in action in Las Vegas from July 10-20, with full schedules and details on how to watch listed below.

Konan Niederhauser became the first Nittany Lion to be selected in the first round of the NBA Draft in Penn State history in late June when he was selected by the Clippers with the 30th overall pick in the first round of the 2025 NBA Draft. He wrapped up the 2024-25 season at Penn State averaging 12.9 points and a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game, in addition to a Big Ten-best mark of 2.31 blocks per game that ranked 12th amongst Division I players tied for seventh in Penn State single-season history. He led the Nittany Lions with a 61.1 field goal percentage, a mark that ranks fifth all-time in Penn State single-season history.

Two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year Baldwin Jr. signed a Summer League deal with the Memphis Grizzlies in late June. Baldwin Jr. wrapped up his outstanding collegiate career as the only active Division I player and one of just five Division I players since the 1947-48 season (77 years) with 1,700+ career points (1,716), 800+ career assists (831) and 300+ career steals (342). He finished the 2024-25 season as Division I’s active career leader in steals (342) and his 831 career assists rank third amongst active Division I players. His 342 career steals are tied for 15th most all-time by an NCAA Division I player. The Baltimore, Md. native completed his standout collegiate career as a two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year (2024, 2025), two-time All-Big Ten selection (2024, 2025), three-time NABC All-District selection (2023, 2024, 2025), 2023 Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, 2023 Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year, and a two-time All-Atlantic 10 pick (2022, 2023).

Zach Hicks signed a Summer League deal with the Boston Celtics in late June. Hicks started every game through his two seasons in a Penn State uniform, leading the Nittany Lions in 3-pointers in both years. He is coming off a senior season that saw him average career-best marks of 11.6 points per game, a 41.3 (74-179) 3-point shooting percentage and 47.1 (115-244) field goal percentage to go along with 5.0 rebounds per game. His 2.39 triples per game ranked fourth-best in the Big Ten during the 2024-25 campaign.

Funk suits up for the Sixers in Summer League after spending previous time with both the Denver Nuggets and Chicago Bulls organizations. Funk proved to be the most lethal 3-point shooter in the Big Ten during the 2022-23 season, leading the conference and ranking top 25 in the nation in both 3FG% (41.2%) and 3-pointers made per game (3.03) while helping the Nittany Lions to the 2023 NCAA Tournament and Big Ten Tournament championship game. Funk finished his five-year collegiate career with marks of 1,693 points (11.5 ppg), 457 rebounds, 237 assists and 302 3-pointers.
