Montoursville’s Winslow, Lewisburg’s Permyashkin earn all-state honors in boys soccer

RALPH WILSON/Sun-Gazette Correspondent Montoursville’s Quinn Winslow was named all-state this year and was a HAC-II first-team all-star selection. Winslow is Montoursville’s first all-state boys soccer player since Kyle Bidelspacher in 1992.
Lewisburg’s Viktor Permyashkin was a key member for the Green Dragons’ state-winning championship team this year. Quinn Winslow recorded more than 20 assists this season for Montoursville and helped the Warriors experience the best regular-season in program history.
Both individual seasons were recognized in the ultimate way as Permyashkin and Winslow were named all-state for their respective schools this year as the Heartland Athletic Conference boys soccer all-star team was released.
Permyashkin was named HAC-I Player of the Year while Lewisburg’s Ben Kettlewell was named Coach of the Year. Montoursville’s Bryan Pauling earned HAC-II Coach of the Year honors. The HAC-II Player of the Year was Southern Columbia’s Ben Gehret.
Central Columbia’s Gaige Gensemer was also named all-state.

On the HAC-I all-star team, Lewisburg led the area with four first-team selections. Isaac Ayres (forward), Permyashkin (Midfield), Riley Gulden-Luthi (defender) and Gabe Pawling (goalie) were all honored. Williamsport’s Spencer Kaar was a first-team defender and Central Mountain’s Griffin Confer earned first-team at midfield. Milton’s Tobin Strous was a first-team all-star selection at midfield.
Williamsport’s Isaac Balza (forward) and Connor Hofstrom (midfield) both earned second-team accolades. Lewisburg’s Keegan Crosby and Milton’s Tristan Steiner were second-team forwards and Milton’s Orrie Godown and Central Mountain’s Cole Cooper were second-team midfielders. Jersey Shore’s Jayden Passetti and Milton’s Tavin Reitz were named second-team defenders.
Earning third-team honors in the HAC-I from the area were Central Mountain’s Dylan Bechdel (forward), Jersey Shore’s Gabe Welshans (forward), Jersey Shore’s Dylan Hensler (forward), Jersey Shore’s Ezra Paulhamus (midfield), Lewisburg’s Eli Abunassar (midfield), Williamsport’s Dumfer Adjei-Frimpong (midfield), Central Mountain’s Kullen Mcdermit (defender) and Milton’s Jake Harris (defender).
Central Mountain’s Jaggar Pardoe (goalie), Jersey Shore’s Breylan Guerrero (defender), Lewisburg’s Grayson Barner (defender), Milton’s Caleb Langdon (forward) and Williamsport’s Charles Plummer (defender) earned honorable mention honors.
Montoursville’s Bryce Winslow (forward), Quinn Winslow (midfielder) and Cullen Pauling (defender) all earned first-team HAC-II honors. Loyalsock’s Caleb Hartsock was a first-team defender and Warrior Run had four first-team HAC-II all-stars in Braego Cieslukowski (goalie), Ethan Balzer (defender), Braden Beachel (defender) and Gideon Kennel (midfield).

Hughesville had a trio of players earn second-team accolades in Sam Haddon (Midfield), Brendan Wolfgang (defender) and Spencer Stine (defender). Loyalsock’s Luke Edmonds earned second-team midfielder and Ori Kennel was a second-team forward for Warrior Run.
Earning third-team honors from the area were Hughesville’s Carter Gormont (forward), Hughesville’s Landon Miller (midfielder), Montoursville’s CJ Lucas (midfielder), Warrior Run’s Gavin Cromley (midfielder), Loyalsock’s Trenton Miller (defender) and Montoursville’s Adam Shearer (defender).
Hughesville’s Patrick Stine (midfielder), Loyalsock’s Connor Lang (goalie), Montoursville’s Mason Fry (goalie) and Warrior Run’s Ryan Kemock (forward) received honorable mention honors.
