West Ends 14-year-old all-star team earned a win at the Babe Ruth Mid-Atlantic Regional tournament in Old Bridge, New Jersey thanks to Dirks Bricker’s 4 for 4 performance at the plate, securing a 16-4 victory over Atlantic Shore. West End’s 13-16-year-old all-star team cruised past Atlantic Shore on Thursday at Logue Field, 12-0, in the Mid-Atlantic Regional Babe Ruth all-star tournament. West End jumped out to a lead in the bottom of the third inning after James Naughton grounded out and scored a run. Due to the air quality concerns caused by the Canadian Wildfires, Thursday night’s series finale between the Williamsport Crosscutters and the State College Spikes has been canceled. Per MLB Draft League rules, tonight’s game is officially a canceled game and will not be rescheduled. LEWISBURG — Bucknell men’s basketball coach John Griffin III will get an early look at the bulk of his 2026-27 squad at game speed next week, as the Bison are set to play two exhibition games in Canada.
