The Uptown Music Collective, the area’s premier nonprofit school of music, is now accepting scholarship applications for its 2026-2027 school year, which will begin in September. According to a news release, this year, the Collective is offering 13 needs- and merit-based scholarships to currently enrolled students, as well as new students wishing to enroll in the school for the upcoming year. According to a news release, this year, Summer Learning is all about dinosaurs, paleontology, and archaeology, so the stuffed mascot is, of course, an adorable green triceratops.
