The threat of rain couldn’t beat the enthusiasm in the air as Jersey Shore kicked off its 64th annual Town Meeting Monday night with a ribbon cutting, followed by entertainment courtesy of Alexis Bradford.
The celebration continues throughout the week with Jimmy Mowery, Les DiMasimo, DJ Dan Harrington, Jeff Kicks Jr. as “Elvis” and Flashback providing entertainment from the stage.
The parade will kick off Thursday’s festivities at 6 p.m., and will be followed by the Baby Sweetheart and Queen Tiadaghton crowning.
The celebration ends with a bang as attendees are treated to a “magnificent” air and ground fireworks display at 9:45 p.m. on Saturday.
