As students head to school, and walk home, the City of Williamsport has begun working with a firm to study ways to create safe streets for them and all segments of the population. The Safe Streets for All (SS4A) plan is a comprehensive initiative focused on creating a city-wide Comprehensive Road Safety Action Plan. Piatt Township-area solar array gets Lycoming County Planning Commission’s approval

A plan for a solar agrivoltaic project with access from Spook Hollow Road in Piatt Township was approved by the Lycoming County Planning Commission at their monthly meeting. The project, which is known as the Bailey Land Development, is on land which is owned by the Bailey Family Irrevocable Trust and Craig and Trudy Bailey. The solar facility is being constructed by Pivot Energy.
