Remembering schools

We read with interest the Wednesday September 16th front page local news article with accompanying photos. The Grandview School in Loyalsock Township certainly encompassed life learning opportunities and skills. Our mother attended an earlier established one-room school through the 8th grade. The Hill School exists today as a a home dwelling in Union County between Kelly Point and Mazeppa. Our mother lived on a nearby family farm and could sometimes ice skate to school. Our world today

It amazes me that there are still politicians and common folk, that still will not back down from their support of our most awful President ever. Price of gas

Representative Meuser/Senator McCormick: Yesterday I filled up my gas tank. I purchased 16 gallons at $4.39 a gallon for a total of just over $70. The Trump Administration and some Congressional Republicans like to put the blame on the Biden Administration for this increase. The fact is the average price of gas during the Biden Administration was $3.45 so $4.39 represents a 27% increase.
