Kegler’s Korner: Three bowlers each bowl a 300 game

There were plenty of fireworks in the Monday Night Classic League last week as three bowlers each bowled a 300 game. While John Heck rolled one in his first game, Randy Drake and Markus Budda each tossed one in their second games.

Drake’s series of 796 beat out Budda’s 788 for top local male series of the week. That same league saw Amanda Heck use a 278 game to fashion a 701 series which rested high female series and game of the week honors away from Stacey Gridley’s 700 series and 265 game in Doc’s Wednesday Mixed League.

Anyone interested in submitting an application for a bowler for consideration for the county association Hall of Fame can obtain an application at any of our local lanes. To be eligible for the Hall of Fame, a bowler must be at least 50 years old and have been a member of the local association or one of its predecessors for at least 20 years. The association would like to get more women’s applications.

Completed applications must be returned by Nov, 10.
