DUI charges filed against five

Alamaria Miller, 29, of 1321 W. Central Ave., South Williamsport, was allegedly coming from “the bar” with a BAC of .125 percent when a state trooper pulled her over Sept. 18. Trooper Kevin Bencsics alleged Miller had glassy eyes and demonstrated signs of impairment in a breathalyzer test. Miller was charged with DUI, unsafe driving, careless driving and driving with an expired vehicle registration.

Chandler Delattre, 49, of 921 Mcateer St., Houtzdale, allegedly had a BAC of .125 percent when he was pulled over by state police with allegedly glassy, bloodshot eyes, slow speech and sluggish actions. Delattre’s vehicle also allegedly had an inoperable right brake light and registration plate lights, and Delattre allegedly turned left while signalling right, according to trooper Robert Jacobs. Delattre was charged with DUI, unsafe driving, improper signaling and no rear lights.

Hadiya Bell-Evans, 26, of 1720 Memorial Ave., Williamsport, allegedly had THC in her system when she was pulled over on E. Fourth St. by state trooper Robert Jacobs Nov. 27. Bell-Evans was charged with DUI of a controlled substance and failure to obey traffic-control devices.

Kathleen Cendoma, 35, of 1263 High St., allegedly had cannabis in her blood and children in the back seat when city police pulled her over on Washington Boulevard, according to Andrew Stevens of the city police. Police charged Cendoma with DUI of controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and restrictions on alcoholic beverages.

Megan Coffman, 27, of 2627 Riverside Drive, DuBoistown, allegedly failed a field sobriety test on Little League Boulevard on July 4 and had open cases of alcoholic beverages in the rear of her vehicle. Coffman was charged with DUI, unsafe driving, driving with a suspended license, careless driving and driving without rear lights.
