The fires in LA, the flooding of North Carolina, killer temperatures across the southwestern states; everyone is talking about these things as “The New Normal.” I hate to say this but it’s far worse than that. I’ve been pondering board representative Cherie Peters’ comment at the last meeting of the Jersey Shore Area School Board. Ms. Peters rather forcefully remarked that she will NOT revisit the Salladasburg school closure vote. Doesn’t she understand it is her sworn duty to consider every agenda item brought before the board whether she likes it or not? Wokeness has died

November 5th 2024 was the day that wokeness essentially died. The funeral was held on January 20th, 2025, with little sadness for the loss. New rules and regulations will replace the nonsense that prevailed for the last three- and one-half years. Thank God, for without His Mercy and Blessing, the status quo would be our demise as a nation. A problem solved

As of today — Jan. 13 — 16 people found dead as a result of the horrific, catastrophic fire in California. Forty-thousand acres scorched and still burning. It is like the devil at work in some of the most beautiful country and neighborhoods in the world. Imagine 100 mph winds with blazing embers of fire blowing at you, your home, your car and your surrounding woods. Inhumanity towards others feels so pervasive it could bring the most stoic to tears.
