I enjoyed seeing the intelligence displayed by the article on the less than three dozen liberal progressive protesters demonstrating at the Yasui Peace Tower. I couldn’t help but notice the irony these progressives displayed, protesting in front of the symbol of tyranny imposed on the Yasui family by their ultimate liberal progressive icon Franklin D. Roosevelt. They also insist we suffer from a lack of leadership in dealing with COVID-19. That’s absolutely correct, of the so far 200,000 deaths in the nation two-thirds of the deaths occurred in 10 states, seven of which are run by progressives. Forty percent of these deaths occurred in nursing homes where progressive governors forced COVID patients to go. They also pointed out we should rely on science while they at the same time profess to believe in the fake science of man-made global warming. I will give them credit for one thing, though. It appears they didn’t resort to looting, setting fires, smashing windows or beating onlookers.
