Three Warriors earn Academic All-District honors for Lycoming women’s lacrosse
Lycoming College junior defender Autumn Shahan, sophomore midfielder and Williamsport graduate Sarah Spring and sophomore Maddie Kracker were honored as part of the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team for the women’s lacrosse team. Shahan earned the award for the second time, as she qualified for the at-large team as a member of the field hockey team in 2023-24.
Shahan started all 16 games for the Warriors in 2025, posting one goal, 23 ground balls and nine caused turnovers. A two-year starting defender, Shahan has posted 43 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers in her career.
Spring started 15 games and played in all 16 in 2025, as she notched two goals, an assist and picked up 19 ground balls in her first year as a starter.
Kracker started 13 games and appeared in 14 as a defender, posting four ground balls and caused two turnovers. The 2025 Academic All-District® Women’s At-Large Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. In women’s lacrosse, eligible student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, carry at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average and have competed in 90% of the TEAM’s total games played OR have started 66% of the team’s total games. The Warriors finished 8-8 overall and 3-6 in the Landmark Conference under first-year coach Meaghan Smith in 2025.
