ALLIANCE, Ohio -- Penn College went 1-1 on the second day of the NCAA Softball Regional Championship Tournament at Mount Union, falling one game shy of reaching the region championship game. The Wildcats escaped elimination in the first game with a 4-0 shutout over Lebanon Valley before falling to tournament host and No. 11 Mount Union, 13-2, in the second elimination game Friday afternoon. Ashlyn Robinson reached some impressive milestones and had a big day, helping Williamsport close its regular season on a high note. Robinson threw a three-hit shutout, reached 100 strikeouts this season, as well as 200 for her career, and went 4 for 4 as Williamsport blanked Bald Eagle Area, 3-0.
