South school board approves several items
The South Williamsport School Board approved several items during its monthly meeting Monday night. The board gave its seal of approval to an Act 93 Compensation Plan, effective July 1 to June 30, 2030; first readings of policies including trauma invested approach, school wellness, bullying/cyberbullying, maintenance and school calendar; second readings of policies relating to academic standards; curriculum, virtual attendance and wellness checks and health examinations/screenings; and the Signs of Suicide pilot program for 7th-9th grade health class students.
