On Christmas afternoon, Cody A. McCallops, 34, came running out of his apartment at 715 W. Third St. completely “naked and covered in blood,” prompting witnesses to call 911, city police alleged in an affidavit.

When an officer arrived on the scene and found the man on his back in some bushes, McCallops suddenly charged at the officer with his fist, court records stated. The officer had to deploy his taser to get him under control, police said. Court records did not explain how the man was injured.

McCallops, who was taken to UPMC Williamsport to be treated for his injuries, has been charged with indecent exposure, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, and has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Christian Frey.
